Brigid Landy Khuri has been an attorney in the Harrisburg office of McNees Wallace & Nurick since 2022. Ms. Khuri began her legal career as a law clerk for the late Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Michael Eakin before spending time as an associate at K&L Gates. Ms. Khuri concentrates her practice on administrative law, with a focus on environmental regulation and compliance. Ms. Khuri also supports the firm’s Real Estate group as an appellate advocate in land use appeals. Ms. Khuri has litigated and argued before the Commonwealth’s Environmental Hearing Board, Courts of Common Pleas, as well as Pennsylvania’s Commonwealth and Supreme Courts. Ms. Khuri’s practice has included a focus on the evolving jurisprudence surrounding Article I, Section 27 of Pennsylvania’s Constitution (sometimes referred to as the “Environmental Rights Amendment”), and she has been a frequent presenter on the topic.
While in law school, Ms. Khuri served as a summer clerk in the chambers of U.S. Federal Magistrate Judge Timothy R. Rice and interned at the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. Prior to that, she spent time at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia and the Philadelphia Defenders Association.
Ms. Khuri’s family history is proudly rooted in Pennsylvania. She was born and raised in Bradford County. Ms. Khuri graduated magna cum laude from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia before attending Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law for her J.D.
Ms. Khuri has served on her local borough’s Planning Commission for over ten years, previously served on the Board of the Harrisburg Chamber’s Community and Economic Development Corporation (CREDC), and enjoys helping out as a coach for her sons’ Little League teams.
Ms. Khuri was appointed to a three-year term on the Board of Law Examiners on May 15, 2025, effective June 10, 2025.
